Obama to Dictate Comp Regardless of Whether TARP-Free

Dear Leader Obama,
We are happy to do whatever you wish, regardless of whether it is good for the markets and capitalism.
As your administration irons out the details of dictating compensation across the financial services sector, even at banks who have not received the burdensome TARP funds, Mr. Obama, your American subjects are in awe of your usurped power.
In Wednesday’s Wall Street Journal, reporters Deborah Solomon and Damian Paletta write:
Government officials said their effort, which is just beginning, isn’t aimed at setting pay or establishing detailed rules. “This is not going to be about capping compensation or micro-management,” said an administration official. “It will be about understanding what is the best way to align compensation with sound risk management and long-term value creation.”
We understand, Mr. Obama, that by your actions, you want to control the private sector. But will the government do what’s best for private industry, or simply impose its will on it regardless of the consequences? There are always unintended consequences, dear Leader, and one can think of at least a handful to your financial rules compensation.
Oh, and Mr. Obama, does this mean you will cut pay for government workers, whom I read are receiving a 2.9% raise this year? Feels good to issue a raise to your workers in the midst of the ‘Great Recession’ and your government spendathon. While you are racking up America’s debt, Mr. President, most Americans are dealing with stagnant wages or pay cuts.
How do regular Americans feel about your squeeze on free market values in dictating compensation across the financial services industry, Mr. Obama? Wouldn’t it be easy once done with the financial sector, to just dictate compensation across all private industries in America?

What I just want to know from Mr. Obama is how does he sleep at night knowing that the way he is handling our affairs is going to damage, perhaps for decades to come, all of what this Country is about? Perhaps what we can say is, that maybe we the people of this generation have inherited a brain malfunction, a disease of some sort. You see, I find that we have learned nothing from our past history lessons.
The last time I heard of Czars was during the early Communist Russian years! For crying out loud, people really don’t see what’s coming?

and the list could go on and on. After all of this, people still drool over his every words and steps, without once verifying if what he says is true or not, they believe him, …How, Why????
Educate your children with the truth, go beyond what is taught in the classroom, some of us were dumbed down let it not happen to our kids. A government centralized and socialized country always turn into a tyranny, look it up…for sure!!
That said, get over your hardships proudly, keep a straight head on your shoulders. It might be too late for us to go back to a democracy anytime soon, however, because we are a great people, under a great God, a people that have endured many struggles before, we will do it again. It won’t be easy for a while, we know that. But when adversity comes we grow hair on our chest, we survive and start all over, remember your history lessons, we will come out of this. We are the great United States of America, don’t you forget it!!
P.S. you think maybe it won’t go that far? (I hope not, but….)
